Birds

The theme of this weeks blog is to take pictures of birds. The first two pictures are of my friends birds. I don't know what type they are but in order to take the picture I used my flash to get a better quality of the colors. The first one is greatly highlighted underneath its main coat with blue peek a boo feather. Then it has sports of purple where its cheeks look to be. As for the second picture I screwed up on the angle that I took the picture so the cash ended up darkening the entire picture rather than highlighting it. You are still capable of seeing the pattern of the top feathers and the hint of blue below, but its harder to see the color contrast.
This final picture I took while I was in San Francisco tho summer of a seagull on a dock inside of Fisherman's Warf. I had to zoom in on my camera a lot in order to actually capture the color and some of the detail shown on the bird.

Light

The theme of this weeks blog is the light. The first picture is of the rapper, G-Eazy. This picture represents light because of the large sign behind him as well as the blaring white light above him. The blue lettering on, "These Things Happen" contrasts with the pitch black background. The second picture in the left hand side of the page is of Skizzy Mars. This is a representation of light because of the blue blaring from the left hand side. It lights up the definition on his face even though he was moving around very fast and shows the motion of my hand. The final picture Is of me and a friend at the River of Lights. There is a lot of emphasis on the behind unicorn because that was what the camera was being focused on rather than the people on the picture.

Lonely Tree

The theme of this weeks blog was to take pictures of a lonely tree. I was incapable of remembering to take pictures outside of school so I had to find some on campus. The first picture is right outside of the math building. I took a wide scope picture to see more of the surrounding but the main tree is still completely bare with no signs of any leaves blooming. The second tree and third tree are green with pine needles that look the same year round. I like how in the third picture there is a faint stream of lights starting at the right corner of the picture moving in a diagonal down the rest of it.

People Hard at Work

The theme of this week was to take pictures of people that were hard at work. All of my pictures look quite similar because I went around the photography classroom and took pictures of my classmates. All who seem to be working on their blogs. I took each of the pictures from an upward angle so that you could look down as each student typing of their keyboard. I unintentionally used the flash on all of the pictures yet it seemed to not make any difference in lighting because the picture is so broad rather than having a clear emphasis on something inside of the picture.

Mechanical Terrestrial Transportation

The theme of this weeks blog was to take pictures if mechanical terrestrial transportation. The first two pictures are taken of my friends cars inside of his garage. I took the first picture from an upward angle so that you could see all of the dimensions of the forerunner. This picture turned out very well because it was taken early in the morning as the sun was coming up/ The second picture is of his audi, just sitting inside of the garage so not as glorious of a picture. The final one is of a cable car that I took when I was in San Francisco. I love this picture because there is emphasis on every aspect of the picture and a lot of detail when looking closer at the colors on the car.
