For this weeks blog the theme was to take pictures of architecture. The first picture is of me and a couple of my friends in front of a school building. the plain architectural wall in the background adds a lot more focus toward me and the girls in the picture. The second and third pictures were taken in New York when I visited there a couple years back. The second picture is of me reaching out and touching the Empire State building. I blurred out the edges slightly so that the main focus would be on the building itself and to show the architecture surrounding. The final picture is of Times Square at night, obviously, and has focus everywhere because ppt how busy of a picture it is. The glowing lights coming from all directions as well as the dark sky mainly in the upper left corner putting a nice shadow on the byilding next to it with the lights also reflecting onto it.

Macrophotography
This weeks theme was Macrophotography. For my first picture I took it of my earbuds messily displayed on a table. I took the picture using the camera flash so that the shadows would add more depth to the picture and make the green and yellow coloring more vibrant. The second picture is of my lokai bracelet that I also took using the camera flash. I like this one a lot because of how the water beads come off to be translucent and the main point of the image. The final picture I took a selfie of just my eye. I used the flash again to blur out the background so that the color of my eye would be the center of the picture. It focused more on the detail of y eyelashes but also brought out the quality and color in my eye.

Night
The theme of this weeks blog is night so for this first picture was taken during summer 2015 at a summer festival in Nob Hill. My friend used her professional camera in order to take the picture of me and a group of other friends. It focuses mainly on us with all of the background darkened, making the clothing and hair look super vibrant. The second picture was taken this winter at the river of lights. It greatly highlights the vibrant flower christmas lights in the background but dims out my friend that I initially took the picture of. Behind her I love how you can see very small twinkling lights with the rest of the scenery. The final picture is a selfie of me and my friend at about 9pm when we were driving to Scottsdale Arizona to go and visit a friend. I used the front facing flash in order to take the picture so that's why the quality isn't all that great because it wasn't able to focus.

Sports
The theme of this weeks blog was to take pictures of people doing sports. The first picture is of me snowboarding in Santa Fe. I had my dad take it at a side angle. The second picture I took of my brother at his club baseball game when he was in the middle of a hit. In order to get this I originally took a video and then stopped it right on the action shot frame. The final picture is of me snowboarding again, only this time I took it from an upward angle with the go pro. I really like this picture because you can see so many aspects of Taos ski mountain from the chairlift.

Birds
The theme of this weeks blog is to take pictures of birds. The first two pictures are of my friends birds. I don't know what type they are but in order to take the picture I used my flash to get a better quality of the colors. The first one is greatly highlighted underneath its main coat with blue peek a boo feather. Then it has sports of purple where its cheeks look to be. As for the second picture I screwed up on the angle that I took the picture so the cash ended up darkening the entire picture rather than highlighting it. You are still capable of seeing the pattern of the top feathers and the hint of blue below, but its harder to see the color contrast.
This final picture I took while I was in San Francisco tho summer of a seagull on a dock inside of Fisherman's Warf. I had to zoom in on my camera a lot in order to actually capture the color and some of the detail shown on the bird.

Light
The theme of this weeks blog is the light. The first picture is of the rapper, G-Eazy. This picture represents light because of the large sign behind him as well as the blaring white light above him. The blue lettering on, "These Things Happen" contrasts with the pitch black background. The second picture in the left hand side of the page is of Skizzy Mars. This is a representation of light because of the blue blaring from the left hand side. It lights up the definition on his face even though he was moving around very fast and shows the motion of my hand. The final picture Is of me and a friend at the River of Lights. There is a lot of emphasis on the behind unicorn because that was what the camera was being focused on rather than the people on the picture.
